Paper.io 2 is a territory-capture game. You control a small square that leaves a coloured trail behind it. When you loop back into your own territory, everything inside the loop becomes yours. You share the map with other squares, and whoever holds the most territory tops the leaderboard.
The risk is your trail. While you are outside your territory, anyone who touches your trail eliminates you, and the same works in reverse. Every round is a trade-off between grabbing a big area and getting home safely.

Tips for Paper Io 2
- Start small. Claim thin slices next to your base first; it builds a safe buffer before you go for big loops.
- Keep your trail short when other players are close. The longer the trail, the longer anyone has to cut it.
- Go on the offensive too. Crossing another player's trail before they close it eliminates them.
- Move along the edges of the map when you can. It reduces the number of directions an opponent can attack from.
- Don't draw only straight lines. A sudden turn makes your path harder to predict.
